The change of season brings with it obvious changes as well as subtle changes. A few months ago the sun used to greet me early in the morning. Now I usually don't see the sun until I'm already dressed, ready to head out the door.
The spiritual journey invites us to be aware of who we are being in the moment, as change and transformation only happen in the moment. Like the change of season I, too, have become aware of obvious changes as well as subtle changes within myself. As my relationship with God deepens, I am aware of how control and fear distance me from God while love and humility bring me closer.
The spiritual journey is a journey that you alone must take for only you can bring forth your own divinity. The good news is transformation happens. The bad news is it may not happen today or even when you think it should. It's conceivable the journey may take an entire lifetime ... but that's why it's called a spiritual journey. The journey isn't about rushing from point A to B; rather, it's about discovering more of yourself along the way. What will you discover next?
